As Donald Trump had already welcomed children with his two previous wives, many people didn't know whether he would have any more when he married Melania. But just four months after they exchanged their vows, the couple discovered that they were expecting - and Melania confessed that Donald was very surprised when she told him. He hadn't imagined they would fall pregnant so soon, but he was still excited when he found out.  

 Melania reportedly always wanted children, so she was over the moon to learn that it had happened so quickly for them. And the couple has been obsessed with their son ever since. 

Today, it's said that Barron and Donald Trump are extremely close - especially now that Barron seems to be taking a bigger interest in his father's career. But Donald decided not to be in the room when his youngest son was born. Instead, he waited at home because he thought that the whole process would be "easier" if he wasn't there to add extra pressure to the situation. So, he didn't go. 

 Thankfully, Barron's delivery was extremely smooth and didn't require any extra care, so it wasn't long before Melania was taking Barron home to meet his daddy for the first time. 

When Barron Trump was born, Donald Trump was in the prime of his business career. He hadn't yet made his way into the political world, but was a huge name in business - which meant that he was a busy man. Because of this, he didn't have a lot of time to focus on the ins and outs of having a baby, and Melania confirmed that Donald didn't ever change Barron's diapers.  

The life of a celebrity child isn't a normal life, and what the average Joe does at two months old is completely different to what a celebrity child does at two months old. In fact, when Barron Trump was two months old, he made his television debut on The Oprah Winfrey Show. His mom and dad were interviewed by Gayle King for the segment to introduce the newest Trump into the world.  

  It was during this interview that Donald confessed that he called his son Barron because he had always loved it but never had the courage to call any of his previous children by that name. 

Before he made his way into the political world, Donald Trump had already made his mark as a businessman with an impressive real estate portfolio under his belt. Because of this, the Trumps have lived everywhere - from grand estates in Florida to $100 million triplex penthouses in New York City. It was in this triplex that Barron spent his early years, and he had a whole floor to himself.  

 Yes, this whole floor was dedicated to Barron - from his personal bedroom to his own kitchen, playroom, living room, and sleeping space for his nanny. And not many kids can say they had so much when they were so little. 

Like almost every celebrity child out there, Barron Trump had a nanny when he was younger. This nanny was there to lend a hand for night feeds, help Melania out when her husband was away on business, and just aid the family when needed. But while hiring a nanny was a decision that Melania and Donald made together, Melania always made sure to be a hands-on mom to her son. 

 Although it's believed that the family ditched the nanny when Barron was old enough to go to school, even today there's always someone around to help - from personal assistants to security guards. 

Throughout his life, Barron Trump has rarely been seen outside of official first-family business. Although he played his part while his father was in the White House, he wasn't put on display like the rest of the family - and this was all thanks to his mom. As the only biological son of Melania Trump (Donald's other kids were the product of his previous two marriages), she made it her mission to keep him out of the spotlight.  

 In an interview with ABC News back in 2016, Melania confirmed that she wanted Barron to live as normally as possible without distractions from the media and fame. So, he was kept away from the public unless absolutely necessary. 

When your family is rich and famous, you can't just go to a regular public school, so it probably won't surprise you to learn that Barron Trump has attended some of the most prestigious schools in the United States. As a youngster, he attended the high-profile Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York before moving on to St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Maryland, which set his father back a whopping $40,000 each year.  

 When they moved away from the White House, Barron went on to complete high school at the private Oxbridge Academy - but now he can be found studying at New York University. 

When your parents are rich and famous, the world is your oyster. And while there's no doubt about the fact that Barron Trump will probably be able to do anything he wants to as a career, what a lot of people don't know about him is that he is reportedly very creative and artistic. When he was younger, Melania boasted that Barron would spend hours drawing pictures on his playroom wall in crayon. 

 Instead of being annoyed that he was ruining their paint job, Melania made the effort to hone this creativity and give her son the space to draw and paint what he wanted. So, he did. 

Like anyone else with a big family, Barron Trump is never lonely. Trump family dinners are a busy affair and full of kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and more. And while it's been said that Barron Trump loves spending time with his family, it's also been noted that he does have his favorites - especially among his favorites. Unfortunately, Jared and Ivanka didn't make the cut, as Tiffany Trump is his favorite.  

 As Donald's daughter from his second marriage, Tiffany is closer in age to Barron than any of his other siblings. And she also lives in Florida, which means that Barron gets to see her more than most. 

If your dad told you that he was going to run a country and you'd have to move your whole life, what would you say? Like most people, Barron was confused and upset. And when his father told the 9-year-old Barron that he would have to leave his school and his friends behind, he was naturally very shocked. In fact, it's been suggested that he didn't want to leave at all.  

 Since graduating from high school and flying the nest, he's chosen to attend college in New York. And this choice didn't come as a surprise, considering it's his favorite place. 

As Donald Trump's other children were fully grown adults when he became president, they didn't get the chance to call 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue their home - but Barron did. And what you might not realize is that he actually broke a trend when he moved in. After all, he was the first boy to call the White House home in almost six decades. Until that point, first daughters graced the halls.  

 To be more specific, Barron was the first son since JFK Jr. lived in the White House in 1961. And while we bet it was a huge change for Barron, there are definitely worse houses to move into. 

They say that children are the product of their environment, but genetics also play their part. And that certainly seems to be the case for Barron Trump. He's reportedly so much like his father that Melania regularly calls him her 'mini-Donald.' Apparently, he's just as opinionated and independent as his dad has always been, and as he gets older he's also starting to look more and more like his father. 

 Although it's not known where his career will take him, Melania has also noted that he's become interested in politics and business, just like his father. So, maybe he will become the next Donald.  

Although most people assume that Barron Trump moved into the White House as soon as his father became president, that wasn't the case. In fact, Melania made sure that Barron stayed in New York for a few months to ensure a smooth transition to Washington, D.C. So, while Donald headed off to his new digs in the White House, Melania and Barron stayed behind so the then-9-year-old could finish the school year. 

   As well as letting her son finish fifth grade, Melania always wanted to slowly ease Barron into his new life. After all, moving into the most famous house in America must come with its challenges.

Like many young boys, Barron spent his free time playing sports when he was younger. This developed into a deep love and appreciation for all sports, and he became a keen soccer player in his youth. In fact, he even made his way onto the D.C. United soccer team as their midfielder. And while it's thought that Barron has continued to play sports through high school and college, there's one sport he's not allowed to play.   

 
 Even if he wanted to step onto the football pitch, his father wouldn't let him play American football. In Donald's eyes, it's just way too rough for his youngest son 

We already know that his mom thinks of Barron as a mini-Donald. And while you may assume that she's being influenced by motherly bias, she's not the only one who has said this. In fact, Tony Senecal, who worked as the family butler for many years, has said that Barron is the spitting image of his kids. During his career, Tony also got close to all of the Trump children, but he said that Barron was the most like Donald. 
  

 Tony has shared numerous anecdotes with the press over the years to support this claim, including one story where a two-year-old Barron barked at him to sit down and talk over breakfast. 

For much of his life, Barron Trump has been shielded from the spotlight and protected by his mother. But now that he's getting older and making up his own decisions, it seems as though Barron wants to test the waters and see what life is like in the public eye. As a result, he decided to attend his first-ever rally in July 2024 when he accompanied his dad to Doral in Florida. 

 While he didn't get too involved in the politics of the day, his show of support went down extremely well with the crowd. Donald seemed to love having his youngest son there, too. 

Of course, we probably don't need to tell you that Barron Trump is fluent in English. But it seems as though Barron is also honoring his mother's roots by learning Slovenian. In fact, he regularly speaks to his mother and grandparents in Slovenian and apparently switches between English and Slovenian with ease. These are not the only language that he can speak, though, as he's also been speaking French since he was three years old 

 While it's said that his French isn't quite as impressive as his English and Slovenian, these are skills that will come in handy as Barron makes his own mark on the world. 

Normally, children are around the same height as their parents. And while Donald Trump is fairly tall at 6'3", it might surprise you to learn that his youngest son Barron is actually taller than him - and he has been for many years. After a growth spurt in his early teens, Barron topped the charts at 6'7" when he was just 15 years old. It's believed that he's now leveled out, but that's still very impressive.

 At this height, Barron is officially now the tallest member of the Trump family - despite being the youngest. Coming in second is his older brother Eric who stands at 6'6".

Although you might assume that first children are home schooled to avoid all the press and scrutiny on their shoulders, this has rarely been the case. But when Barron Trump moved from his school in New York City to attend St. Andrew's near his new home at the White House, he still broke a first family tradition. After all, the first children before him had almost all gone to the same school. 

  While the Clinton, Bush, and Obama children all attended the private Quaker school, Sidwell Friends, Barron decided to go elsewhere. And his family were onboard with that big change, too.

We already know that Barron Trump didn't move into the White House when his father did, but that doesn't mean that he didn't get to spend some time there. In fact, while he was finishing up his schooling in New York, he decided to take his classmates on a field trip to the White House so they could see his new home and meet his dad. All in all, there were 80 kids. 

 As well as having a tour of the house and meeting the president, they were also able to stick around for some lunch and explore the grounds. Apparently, he was very excited to show his friends his new home. 

When Donald Trump was president, he was tasked with making decisions that would make the country better and safer. And in 2019, he put forward a motion to ban vaping in certain U.S. states after many people - including youngsters - developed lung illnesses linked to e-cigarettes. But while many people supported this motion, others questioned where it specifically came from, and some wondered whether Barron had a part to play in it. 

 Rumors began to swirl that Melania and Donald had discovered Barron using a vape, and Donald came to the conclusion after that. However, this has never been addressed by the family.  

Melania Trump is a worldwide figure. And while she's famous for marrying one of the most famous men in the world and for her stint as a first lady, she's actually a very private person, and those close to her say that she's a homebody through and through. Instead of attending events or hanging out at country clubs, Melania would apparently much rather hang out with her husband and son. 

It's even been said that Barron is his mother's best friend, and Barron is at the forefront of every decision she makes in life. We don't think that's going to change as he gets older, either. 

The Trump family is a big one. As Barron is Donald's youngest son, his other sons and daughters have since flown the nest and had families of their own - and he's now a grandfather to 10 granddaughters and grandsons. So, when they all get together, they have a very full house, and it seems as though that's the way that Barron likes it. After all, he's reportedly a very fun uncle.  

 Although he's still a teenager himself, it seems as though Barron is very mature for his age and knows how to handle the high energy of his nieces and nephews.  

When Donald Trump's presidency came to an end in 2021, almost every single member of his family was ready and waiting to watch his farewell speech. But the press was quick to pick up on the fact that Barron Trump didn't seem to be in attendance. He wasn't standing with his family, he wasn't anywhere to be seen, and it seemed as though he wasn't anywhere nearby. So, why was that? 

    Even today, it's not known what caused Barron Trump to miss this event when the rest of his family was there to support his father. Maybe he wasn't feeling up to it? 

When you live in the limelight, rumors about you are bound to come out. And this was the case in 2016 when comedian Rose O'Donnell questioned whether Barron Trump had autism in a since-deleted tweet. She claimed that this information was coming from a YouTube video that went into the ins and out of autism spectrum disorder and how Barron seemed to have certain traits to qualify him as autistic.  

 However, nothing of the sort has been either confirmed or denied. But when Melania Trump learned of the YouTube video, she reportedly hired a lawyer to get it taken down. 

One thing you probably already know about the Trump family is that they aren't afraid of being in public. Donald, Jared, and Ivanka, in particular, are used to being in the limelight and have no problems being on show. However, the same can't be said for Barron. Although it's been said that he loves hanging out with his family behind closed doors, he tends to hang back at public events. 

 This was seen at the White House Easter Egg Roll when Barron would let his siblings and nieces and nephews have all of the fun. Instead of getting stuck in, he stood on the sidelines. 

After leaving the White House, Barron split his time between New York City and the Trump estate in Florida. But when it came to choosing where he'd spend his four college years, there was only one place that he wanted to go - and that was New York. As of September 2024, Barron was a student at NYU's Stern School of Business, following in the footsteps of his businessman father.  

 Of course, Barron has to have Secret Service agents with him at all times - which is probably why he chose to live at Trump Tower rather than live on campus.  

Being born into one of the richest families in the world will certainly have an effect on you, and it's been reported that Barron began to expect the finer things in life from a young age. In fact, he wore his very first designer suit when he was just three years old. Since then, he has allegedly become a huge fan of designer fashion - especially sneakers, which he will regularly spend hundreds of dollars on.  

 But it's not just designer clothes that he loves. From a young age, Melania also made sure that her son used the finest skincare and moisturiser, and this is something he has continued. 

March 2020 was a month like no other. It was during this time that the COVID-19 pandemic reared its head and started to spread across the globe. And while Donald Trump originally played down the virus originally, he was later hospitalised when his symptoms progressed - and his son contracted it, too. Yes, Barron tested positive for Covid when he was 14 years old, and it's believed that the family knew it was coming.  

 As Barron started to display symptoms, he underwent a test, which was originally negative. A day later another test confirmed that he was actually positive, but he didn't suffer too much. 

While it's not known whether Barron Trump has a monthly allowance or he just asks his parents for money if and when he needs it, one thing we do know is that he's not afraid to spend a lot of money on shoes. In fact, he's a self-confessed sneakerhead and absolutely loves sneakers. And while he's been known to wear Nike and Adidas, there is one particular brand that he's been obsessed with for decades.  

 Since he was a youngster, Barron has loved New Balance sneakers. And while he regularly buys off-the-shelf sneakers, he also loves to use the customization service to choose his own colorways. 

Although Melania and Donald have done everything they can to ensure that their youngest son, Barron, is kept out of the spotlight and away from political scrutiny, that isn't always possible when you're part of one of the most famous families in the world. Because of this, Barron Trump has been trolled and cyberbullied countless times over the years. In fact, he was barely a teen when he was first targeted. 

 Although many of these trolls were hiding behind keyboards, he was also targeted by Katie Rich, who is an SNL show writer. In the end, she was suspended for her bullying tweets 

The funny thing about being rich is that, although you can afford anything, you get a lot of things for free - and Barron Trump has certainly reaped the rewards of this over the years. Now that he's older, he's received everything from soccer balls to clothing for free, but that's nothing compared to the gifts he received when he was born. To celebrate his birth, he was inundated with presents.

It's been reported that his siblings were a great source of comfort during this time, and he also received public support from former first children 

 Both Jenna Bush Hager and Chelsea Clinton spoke out about the public tear-down of the young child and asked the press and critics to go easy on him and let him grow up in peace. 

Although Barron Trump tried to keep a low profile while he lived in the White House, it didn't take long for pictures of him to make the rounds. And as critics scrutinised these pictures, they were quick to pick up on the fact that Barron often opted for a more casual look. The young boy would choose jeans and a T-shirt over a suit, but this didn't go down well with the public.  

 For some reason, they wanted the first son to be suited and booted for every public outing, and his casual clothing didn't sit well with them. However, this didn't seem to change his taste.
